Vinography.com has come up with “The Definitive List of Black-Owned Wineries Around the Globe.” Even the author of the article, Alder Yarrow, admits there were a few omissions. We immediately noticed two that were not on the list.

Lapin Rouille’ and Melanated Wine are Black Women-Owned. Check them both out as well as the entire list from Vinography. While their list may not be complete and the list continues to grow, it’s a good place to start your Black-Owned winery research. Cheers!

A Concrete Rose Merges Arts, Culture, Literature and Wine

A Concrete Rose in Lancaster, PA is a bookstore, micro-winery and live entertainment venue under one roof. The goal of owners Evita Colon and Solise White is to celebrate and amplify the stories of the people of the African Diaspora and ignite conversation and actions that will positively change the dynamic of the relationships we have with others.

The space opened in October of 2022 and features books and art created by authors and artists of the African Diaspora providing the community with the opportunity to learn about different cultures through the immersion of literature and art. Their aim is to provide the community with a place to freely express themselves and showcase their work on a regular basis.
